Noorani Qaida
Our Online Noorani Qaida Course guides learners of all levels through Arabic letters, movements, and basic Tajweed. Expert instructors help build a precise foundation for Quranic recitation in an engaging way. Whether beginning or refining your skills, this course deepens understanding and spiritual connection. It sets a strong, radiant foundation for a lifelong relationship with the divine words.
The Noorani Qaida course provides the essential foundation for reading the Quran, beginning with the Arabic alphabet. It teaches students to correctly recognize and pronounce each letter, first in isolation and then as they visually change shape when combined into words. Mastering this unique characteristic of the Arabic script is the critical first step toward fluent recitation.
The course then systematically introduces the Harakat (vowel signs), which dictate how each letter is sounded. Students learn how these signs change a letter’s pronunciation, controlling pitch, length, and emphasis. Understanding these rules is vital, as it transforms the ability to recognize letters into the ability to read them accurately with proper sound and rhythm.
By completing the Noorani Qaida, students build a strong foundation in the basic rules of Tajweed, developing an excellent Arabic accent and the confidence to approach the Quran. This investment in fundamentals is indispensable for beginners and equally valuable for those seeking to correct their recitation, ensuring that time spent on this foundation leads to a lifetime of more accurate and meaningful engagement with the holy text.
مَنْ قَرَأ حَرْفاً مِنْ كِتاب الله فَلَهُ حَسَنَة، والحَسَنَة بِعَشْرِ أمْثَالِها، لا أقول: ألم
حَرفٌ، ولكِنْ: ألِفٌ حَرْفٌ، ولاَمٌ حَرْفٌ، ومِيمٌ حَرْفٌ
Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah will be credited with a good deed, and the good deed receives a ten-fold reward. I am not saying that “ألم” Alif-Lām-Mīm is one letter, but Alif is a letter, Lām is a letter and Mīm is a letter.

Noorani Qaida Course Duration
To learn Noorani Qaida for beginners and experts, the course duration is not specified. If the student, who reads Noorani Qaida online, is of a younger age, then he learns faster. If the student is older, he takes more time. However, a child around 10 years of age usually completes this course in 4 to 6 months and an adult student completes this course in an average of 2 to 4 months.
It is difficult to give a definitive opinion on the course duration because sometimes a student’s grip on the Arabic language and vocabulary is better, and he can easily complete the course and finish all its lessons very quickly in a short span of time. In contrast, some students have no experience with the Arabic language and vocabulary, so they have to make a little more effort, but with hard work and dedication, such students can also complete this course in a short time. We have seen students with zero experience in the language completing this course within a short span of 3 months.
Method of Teaching

The style of teaching will start with Arabic letters, in which the structure of writing the Arabic letters separately will be explained in the beginning. Similarly, students are taught how the letters are combined and written so that students can easily identify and recognize them. Afterwards, an introduction to each of the difficult signs (harakat) and then the method of their reading is introduced, keeping in mind the appropriate time of the combined movements.
With the help of screen sharing, our teacher will help the students recognize the letters individually. And he will let them practice by repeating the letters again and again. They can concentrate and comprehend the structure of the letters.
